The basic purpose of the Tekura Jegnas, Inc. is to restore and or maintain the moral and cultural dignity of the African community and its members as an integral part of its activities/educational programs and to develop community based leaders of the future through the practice of African cultural manifestations of the Diaspora who are committed to this community. This includes the innovative use of technology and art for the advancement of African people
